I am a senior battery product designer with 30 years experience in the battery industry. As a manager, I know it is essential to guide a team to success through defined goals and project management. Having worked from R&D through to production I understand the difficulties and methodologies required to move an idea into physical production reality.
My career has focused on development of battery designs for power tools and motive power systems including: Lift Trucks, Ground Support Equipment, Hybrid and Electric Vehicles. Worked on SAE committees for both Electric Vehicles and 42 V systems including principal writer for the SAE J1798 document for testing EV modules. Worked with the USABC and ALABC, and tested batteries for many applications.
I know several electrochemical systems having worked on Pb-acid, NiMH, NiZn, alkaline fuel cells, and electro-chromic materials as well as being a member of The Electrochemical Society I am continuously updated on various new technologies.
